Child rights are equally important as any other normal person’s rights. A lot of special attention and care is required in the execution of acts and policies to maintain the basic rights of a child. The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) of 1989 defines a child. A child is any human being who has not attained the age of 18 years. All children have these rights, no matter who they are, where they live, what their parents do, what language they speak, what their religion is, whether they are a boy or a girl, what their culture is, whether they have a disability and whether they are rich or poor. No child should be treated unfairly on any of the above basis. It is the responsibility of CCI to restore children’s rights in order to provide them a stable and healthy life again. The main purpose of the laws related to children is to protect them during their minority.
